I’m sorry for my English, folks, but I must to say a few words. 

Card time and the connection with character 

From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. This is a period which has a largest penetration of light and crystal clarity of your surroundings. The Sun is slightly hidden by clouds; it can be interpreted in two ways. This is a trouble on the protagonist’s path (no mercy to those who speak the truth), or it is a greatness, in which he outshines the Sun.

General details: flowers and personification

Artist is just a child. By itself, he represents a dazzlement. Being a Leo, he has a burning heart, and he is the most direct of all. In addition this zodiac sign is controlled by the Sun (energy of Yang: masculine).

Strictly speaking, the male part dominates in my gang. The «sunny» sign is everywhere where a male character was drawn, and I’ll explain it below. Now, about Artist. He is the one who is naked. It’s a challenge: I’m not hiding anything, I have no weapons (both facts are moot, but not on this game).

Why there is a rose, not a laurel bay or narcissus? Artist has a very amorous nature. It’s no secret, red rose means a passionate love (without spikes: a true love at first sight), and white ones – a reference to a tragic fate. In general, these things are not obvious. But everything is in its place, if we remember that roses – flowers of winners and royal personages. Its petals on the path of chosen ones, and there is no doubt that the young king of beasts, like no other, is worthy of this honor.

Communication with other cards

Artist wore a gypsy belt with necklace on it, but never before I did not pictured him in them.

Firstly, because his belt – it's just a modified version of the headscarf. Although, I must admit, in a headscarf he would be very beneficial echoed with its antipode – Lewis in gypsy hat.

Secondly, the necklace has no connection with the gypsies: these are «Chinese coins of happiness». According to custom, it promises happiness to those who wear the number of coins, a multiple of 3. He’s got 9 (1 is on edge, and 8 other ones refer to 8 visible coins of Louise’s belt (Good Morning!).

He inherited feathers from Morning (originally, a desire of something beautiful, but unattainable). Now I wouldn’t like to talk much about his earring or even the feathers in his hair… mostly, of their coloring. In China, the «rainbow» is sometimes interpreted as a sign of «a whoredom outside the marriage». But here is another interpretation: an altered state of consciousness. I’m talking about his ability to spiritual ecstasy and that he is extremely talented.

I promised to tell you about the Sun «in the house» of men. Apart from the fact that two of them are depicted in the background of it. Ralph has medallion in the shape of the Sun. Why he has 2? A few words on the card-antipode (Night)

Color solution

Ok, an afternoon is bright, a night is dark, etc. The most vivid color of the spectrum (yellow) and the darkest one (violet) are the primary and secondary, respectively. Therefore Lewis dressed in yellow, and Artist is in mulberry.

Geometry and a (non-)uniqueness

Both boys are waist-high. The point of flower’s flow: from left to right (Lewis’ antipode). 3 flowers on the each of card. A rose is «love» as a friar’s cap is «hate». Poses are the same, but the look in opposite directions.

Position of hands: Artist has a closed, Lou has an open.

Position of figures in relation to the hosts of heaven is opposite. The Sun on the Artist’s card is on the top left corner. Diagonal of figure: from top right corner to the left under corner. On the Lewis’ card the same elements are opposite. For the same principle: star rises (Afternoon) and the star falls (Night).
